FAQ
Where is this happening?
At my cozy little condo in historic Downtown Salem, MA. (You’ll get the address when you sign up.) I’m a stone’s throw from Salem Common, the Witch Museum, the Peabody Essex Museum, and all the spooky shops on the pedestrian mall, in case you want to come early to explore!
If you’re driving, I have a visitor pass you can use on the street; if you’re train-ing, I’m a 5-10 minute walk from Salem station on the Newburyport/Rockport line.
When is this happening?
Various Saturday and Sunday evenings around 6pm. Use the sign-up page to see which dates are available.
How much does it cost?
Nada! This is an excuse for me to cook fun meals and spend time with old and new friends.
What’s on the menu?
You’ll find out the specifics when you get here! Each night has a general theme guiding the menu, so choose one that speaks to you. Let me know dietary restrictions or the things you just can’t stand and I’ll make it work*. And if we have it in us, we can meander over to Goodnight Fatty for a post-dinner warm cookie.
*As this is my home kitchen and I eat everything, I can’t 100% prevent cross-contamination of things like gluten, soy, etc.
How many people will be there?
Think of this as a micro supper club. We max out at 4 people (including me!), so plan to RSVP for 1-3 people. There will also be a (perfect) dog in attendance—he won’t bark or jump on you but he will stare at your food.
What can I bring?
You don’t need to bring anything. But if that offends your sensibilities, here are some ideas that would be appreciated:
Flowers*
A joke or lively anecdote
Something to drink
A treat for Gus
A song or tune
A card trick
*Don’t bring a potted/live plant. It will die and I will be sad.
Who’s invited?
You’re invited if:
We’re friends
We work together (or used to work together)
We know each other on IG but somehow have never met IRL
You’re a friend of my friend/coworker/family member
Who even are you?
Great question. I’m Hannah! I love to cook, I’m pretty good at it, and I want more excuses to feed other people. More here.
